RESUMEN

En este trabajo analizamos en forma retrospectiva todos los efectos adversos reportados en la historia clínica de pacientes diabéticos tipo 2 de alto y muy alto riesgo, según Framingham, atendidos en forma ambulatoria, con el objetivo de analizar la seguridad del uso de glitazonas. No se observaron diferencias significativas en la aparición de tumores, fracturas y eventos cardiovasculares.

SUMMARY

In this work we do a retrospective assessment of all the adverse effects which were reported in the medical history of outpatients with Type 2 diabetes of high or very high risk (Framingham). Te objective of this work was to analyze if the use of glatizone is safe. We observed no significant differences in the appearance of tumors, fractures and cardiovascular events.

RESUMO

Neste artigo, analisamos em forma retrospectiva todos os efeitos adversos registrados na história clínica de pacientes diabéticos tipo 2 de alto e muito alto risco, segundo Framingham, atendidos em forma ambulatória, com o intuito de examinar a segurança do uso de glitazonas. Não se observaram diferenças significativas no aparecimento de tumores, fraturas e eventos cardiovasculares.
